“The property owner never sent the entry code for us to enter the property. We contacted him numerous times, never getting a response. We were traveling with two kids, both under 2. VRBO was useless to helping resolve the issue. After numerous hours, the property manager finally called. He did not apologize or appear to even care. However, there must be some septic system issues as there was road work/septic work being done directly at the opening of the parking lot to the apartments/units. Parking was a nightmare as the spaces are far too close. “Sandwiched between Willoughby Bay and Willoughby Beach, this small 2-room unit offers a humble stay in an amazing location featuring many nearby locations including Virginia Beach and Jamestown (highly recommended). Just across the main street is a lovely, low-key beach with many artificial rock formations, creating multiple small bays that maintain warmer water. “Cute apartment!! Nice space and safe environment for a mother daughter trip. For a tip when you arrive it’s the second building by the citgo and the FIRST entrance of the building not the second door. Apartment did come with some cook ware and dish ware! Shower has great hot water BUT it’s better to shower later in the evening after the residents shower!! You’ll like this space it’s has some nice safe vibes !!”
