“We had a great time with our extended family at this beautiful house. The tennis court and swimming pool were great additions to our stay and vacation. Some minor issues arose, but the owner was incredibly responsive and moved to fix any issues quickly and successfully. Would stay again!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Carriage House! It was the perfect location for a wedding that we had right down the road, and our kids absolutely LOVED seeing all of the animals. The house is so cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for the weekend. Host was so friendly, and communication was great. Our daughter has already asked when we can go back to “our farm house”. Highly recommend!”

“The property was nice and secluded. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife. The house accommodated our whole family and had toys and games for the kids. It was a pleasant experience. We did find a few dirty dishes so we washed everything before using but that wasnt a big deal. We would definitely reccomend and use again if we travel to the area.”

“Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house....

“Overall, I'd highly recommend staying at the rental. It's recently updated and has a fantastic deck out back with a TV. There were some minor recommendations, but was very happy overall. - The front door sticks and can be tough to open and close. Born and raised in Hopatcong, could not have asked for a better spot to make our central hub for a family vacation/visit for a wedding and catching up with old friends.
