“Our family had one of our best years at Loon Lake and it’s mainly due to our stay here and the wonderful accommodations of this beautiful cabin! It was truly a “home away from home” and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We have family on Marina road and it was a convenient location to their camp, too. We truly just loved hanging at the cabin…that side porch was one of our favorites! We can’t wait to come back!”

“Three families stayed at the property (6 adults, 4 children). Plenty of room for all of us. It’s a cool house with good separation. The pool table and the big kitchen table got a lot of use! The kids loved fishing in the little pond behind the house. We didn’t get to use the treehouse much, but the kids thought it was really cool. The house is certainly remote in a quiet town. Lake George is about ~45 min away, not a bad drive. Restaurant options are limited within ~15 minutes, but there are...

“Tents were great. Spacious, with wonderful porches, pastoral views, warm down comforters. The electric fireplace heater was a nice touch but didn't cut the cold once out of the bed! Tent nearby was loud late at night and shining light - only downside. Outbuildings were charming. Loved the walk under the starfilled sky to the japanese soaker. Only wish we could have dimmed/turned lights off in the soaker to see the stars! Dinner at Barvino in neighboring Northcreek was great. Beautiful home at...

“Stayed here after a long day of hiking. This was the perfect place to rest and recharge. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. The facilities are charming with many amenities. The beds were very comfortable and the facility was very peaceful and quiet. Will recommend to others and will definitely return. Thank you.”

“Our stay there was very nice. The best part about the entire trip is the river. We had three kids ages 9-12 and all had a great time playing in the river. The grounds were very neat while we were there. We were the only people around. It was so amazing not to have anyone around, the only suggestion is a deep thorough cleaning. very strong smell of mildew in cabin, other than that, it was an amazing time ”

“My wife and I were very impressed with this property and location. It was a “last minute” getaway for our 20th anniversary. The location was private, the view and backyard were beautiful, the cabin was cozy, clean, and well appointed. The hot tub was well worth the extra fee, and booking the hour couldn’t be simpler. We look forward to returning and staying in some of the other cabins on the property - they all look inviting!”

“It was well equipped but it’s really suited for couples. The pullout sofa and upstairs beds weren’t comfortable. Also the upstairs could use a good cleaning. The stairs to get there aren’t the safest and the large window can easily be opened so not safe for young children. However, it’s a cute cabin with a wonderful porch and outside area. Loved the boats and fire pit, the beautiful view and the closeness to Chestertown.”

“Nice, we love the house. We only wish to have Lake George more close, its 22 minutes in car away from the house. But we have a wonderful time, we will definitely rent this house again in the future.”
