“When we drove up to the house, we were excited by the view of the ocean and the many sea stacks. The house has lovely art and overall is just beautiful. Some of the Russian artwork brought about interesting conversations. We loved Agate Beach, and Just hanging in the front yard. The Trinidad Retreat Contract is extensive and I found them to be formal. Overall it was a great vacation. ”

“Place is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Nicely set up outside of town. I almost gave the overall rating 4 stars because the beds were very soft. I prefer firm, but I’m also a very sensitive sleeper, so that may not be the case for others. It is as very clean and quiet. Host was an excellent communicator! ”

“Rock Rose Cottage absolutely provides a "lavish and intimate" environment. My husband and I have stayed in other places along the Humbolt coast and this cottage is the one we look forward to returning to again and again. It's simply gorgeous - everything - from top to bottom. The location offers easy access not only to town, but both north and south coastal AND redwood areas. Nikki, the host is generous and attentive. The only downside was leaving! ”

“Snug Harbor was a cute cottage that made a great home base for our family of 6 to explore the Redwoods. Our kids loved the badminton and ping pong in the yard and I loved the peaceful ocean view and sounds, especially in the early mornings.
