“Our family chose this house based off of location and bedrooms and didn’t need much more than that. We got so much more than we bargained for and did not leave with a single disappointment. The spacious backyard came with a small BBQ, perfect for marinated Kangaroo steak, and a cozy place for early morning coffee to watch the Bin Chicken poking around for its breakfast. The bedrooms were a nice size, each with ceiling fans and AC Units. The living room had a comfy couch with reclining chairs...

“We stayed for 3 nights in this cute little hid away. Close enough to get around Darwin, but nicely out of the way of the hustle and bustle. To make our stay even better, the property is pet friendly. I also appreciate that linen in the property is white and laundered to a commercial standard. Price was great especially when matched against the few pet friendly hotel options. Thank you for a wonderful stay. ”

“We spent 3 nights, house was clean and tidy. It is very spacious. Pool was beautiful, no issues with sandflies/mosquito's outside. Home theatre and pool table provides lots of entertainment. On the downside, house is showing signs of age and some appliances were out of order. I would suggest replacing the frying pans, theynlook like camping frying pans. Overall i highly recommend to stay and would love to stay again!”

“I have put in a complaint as owner never contacted us (despite many attempts by myself to contact them also) to advise on access to property so we had to do a last minute booking elsewhere. Annoyed at response by phone consultant to 'go to the property and if we couldn't get in they'd help then by arranging alternative accomodation'. Not helpful when we were arriving at 1am.....”

“Tropical oasis sums it up really well. Gardens were lovely. House was really comfortable. Hosts have thought of everything to make it an ideal place to stay. Close to shopping centre and 12 minute drive to Darwin City. Suit all ages- the pool was great.”

“Our group had such a wonderful time at Golden Sands! The place has so much space for all of us and our needs. The beautiful kitchen, big dining areas and multiple areas to congregate meant we never felt like we were on top of each other. We also appreciated the sleeping arrangements however the room that slept 6 was a little tricky for our singles and couples to share. Luckily with the fold out beds in the loungeroom, the extra space was appreciated. I would definitely book again for a big...
