“We stayed 3 nights in The Gaulala Cottage. The room had a great view from the deck. The property is older and a little rustic. Everything was clean for the most part. The sleeper sofa would be fine for a younger child, not so good for a young adult. Communication and Parking were both good. The driveway is steep. Beware if you have a car that sits low. ”

“The Tiny Tipsy Turtle was perfect for our needs. Well designed to make use of a small space. As 2 adults and a large dog with a crate, we were just fine. The cleanliness and great use of space made our stay lovely. Having the deck/patio area was a nice bonus. Location was wonderful: walking distance to shopping, eateries and a beach. ”

“This place has spoiled me for any other rentals I've stayed in this vacation. The owners were great at communicating and offering advice on where to eat and what wineries to visit. There was also so many added touches to make the stay enjoyable. From turning on the AC before we came in to the coffee, water and wine and so much more. Also, there was the most comfortable chairs to sit in to have your coffee in the morning or to relax at night. I honestly didn't want to leave. Trust me on...

“We’re so glad we found this well maintained comfy little cabin that is pet friendly. We’re surrounded by a quite serene setting of trees and grass for the pups. It’s so close to so many places to visit. We love this place and have already made plans to come back! ”

“It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

“We loved the cabin and the hot tub was great. Sleeping under the skylights was special! We would have appreciated the parking pass being left in the cabin for us - so as not to have had to drive to Gualala and back for that after what was already a long drive. And the cabin was 46 degrees F when we arrived! The gas fireplace is lovely but took nearly 6 hours to get us up above 60…. I would recommend during cold weather having the thermostat preset to at least 62 so as to avoid this issue...
