“It was a nice time. We would recommend putting some sort of welcome packet with all the rules of the property, check in/out procedures in the properties, like some local restaurants, the fact that there is an elevator and outdoor showers. It was a nice and cute place, we would definitely consider staying there again. We would also recommend maybe putting a cutting board in the property.”

“Our stay was good! The only con for us was not having a stove/oven, which may be a detail I missed/overlooked, I’m not sure. We just got a blackstone from Lowe’s since we couldn’t use the community grill onsite due to allergy/cross contamination risk. No big deal for us but may be for some. Overall, we definitely feel we would stay here again if we go on another vacation with our dogs. The location is great and host was very nice!”

“My family and I came to the beach for a mini vacation and this cottage served our needs. Nicely decorated the bigger bedroom had nice space and comfy bed. Master is a bit smaller and the family who used it says the mattress was very uncomfortable. The hosts were easily reached and replied quickly to questions. I would recommend this property to family and friends. ”

“Its was good not as close to main restaurants and shops as I thought it was almost a mile. Requested bikes not delivered. Bed needs flipping had to sleep upside down as the head was sinking and the AC light was bright enough to light up the whole room. But it was close to beach access and a bar and one restaurant were close.”

“Great location. Easily walk or bike to pretty much anything in Surf City. Nice and clean, and the porch was worth booking the smaller room. I know others complained about noise but we didn't have any problem. On the first day we wished for a hose in the outdoor shower and on day 2 it magically appeared. Our pup especially appreciated this addition.”

“My daughter and I and 2 grandchildren took a long weekend at the beach. Although it rained a lot because of the incoming hurricane we had a nice time. The residence was comfortable. The only suggestion I have is that the porch didn’t have a covered area to sit on the deck. That would have been nice to sit while it rained.”

“Bungalows were in a great location and we loved being right on the beach! Property could use a few updates but if you aren’t too fussy it’s more than worth it and being so close to the water. This was our first time to surf city and loved it!”

“Great place right on the beach. It's on a dead-end street, so there's no traffic. Surf City Line restaurant is literally in the back yard, and it's a short walk to a few nice bar & grills. Hang out with the locals - there aren't many tourists around. And if you're feeling adventurous, it's within stumbling distance from the Trailer Bar. ”

“Perfect location, can’t get any closer to the beach. Nice and quiet. House was very clean and up to date. Was exactly as pictured in the listing. Only incredibly minor complaint was that the smoke alarm is super sensitive and went off every time we used the oven. Better to work than not at all though! Definitely will be coming back. ”
