“This is a fabulous property and we greatly enjoyed spending our weekend here. We used the property for a business retreat and were happy to see a dining room large enough for the number of adults expected to be staying at the property (which is not common for rentals with more than three bedrooms). There was ample space to spread out when we needed a break and the dining table served as a conference table for our needs. The separate poolhouse is a nice apartment if anyone requires extra privacy...

“All of the things on the walls and around the house really gave the inside and out a lot of character! The spa in the backyard was just what we needed! The place also had a keurig which I was really happy about!”

This place has a unique charm with alot of iconic history that we really appreciated! The host was super great, and it was easy and affordable to Uber everywhere we wanted to go!”

“This house was spacious and comfortable. Living area had plenty of room and it had comfy seating for 6. The inside and outside fireplaces were really pretty. Kitchen was large enough to host Thanksgiving lunch on our visit. Beds were comfy with plush sheets too. Yard was perfect for the dog. Neighborhood was close to Pearl area, maybe 5 minute drive. The house has a security system as well but we felt perfectly safe. This house is on my favorites list for San Antonio. ”

“VRBO called the owner of this property regarding the death of who booked this house three weeks in advance and he still refused to refund the stay. The property is overpriced due to the proximity to the River Walk. Too many items in the house made it hard to keep track of your own items.”

“Home is decent but area is not the greatest. Cleaning people did a very poor job. Found dirty towels and a very nasty crusty rag in the shower with a bunch of bars of soap with hair on them. Don't walk around bare footed broken glass all in the yard. Multiple door hands broken. The hot water never got hot.”

“The house was great for our stay. The only thing we missed was having a place to sit outside in the evenings. The patio shown is very small, dirty and right against the neighboring house. The home is spacious and comfortable!”

“i loved the house itself.. Very up to date.. cute design and organized well... the street we loved on was ok but the route getting there is a bit dirty far as old buildings and raggedy houses. but overall i would rebook”

“My family and I booked this house to attend my cousins baby shower that was 15 mins away. Location was good and area had lots of restaurants and grocery stores not too far away. The house was like the pictures, though I wish the renovations inside were a bit more complete, because some things looked like they were bootlegged. There were plenty of pillows and blankets. The amenities were great being that we had kids and they really enjoyed the fire pit and games in the backyard. We weren’t able...

“Our family gathers each year for a few days of fun and relaxation. This house met our needs beautifully! The teenagers immediately gravitated to the mini golf in the backyard and the pool table upstairs! The rest of us gathered in the open living, dining, and kitchen most of the time. House was spotless! We had one issue and the owner was prompt in helping us. Highly recommend!”

“The check in and check out we’re easy. The host called to give a number if we needed anything and did respond quickly when we called. There were no hangers and no hair dryer available. The beds we’re comfortable but the pillows were pretty flat. There was a small park a couple of houses away that we went to.the moxie theater and pool table were nice to have. The location was close to the air force base”
