“The house is a nice little place to stay, very quiet and away from noises. Easy to find. The goats were very cute to watch. Didnt get a chance to use the pool but looked like a nice place to cool off after exploring the area. Was about 20 min to downtown historic Fredericksburg but wasnt a bad drive. Only challenge i had was the shower is on the smaller side, a moveable showerhead would make it easier. ”

“Was a little bumpy getting into the rental but wires got crossed so no one’s fault. The owner was very nice and a big help getting me in! The back yard is huge and the short hiking trail was great. My dog also became friends with a frog that showed up in the front yard everyday. Ha ”

“We knew shortly after booking that our stay at Eagle's Nest Cottage would be great! The owners, Greg & Christine, were very quick to respond to a few questions that we had. We could tell they would be very good & friendly hosts. Cottage was beautiful, comfortable & and had everything that we needed. We spent most of our time in the lake or on the private dock, kayaking, boating & fishing.We brought our small fishing boat which had motor issues immediately.
