“We had a wonderful room at Hotel Cocoa - it was really spacious and had an incredible view overlooking Lake Toya. Although the hotel was having some renovation work done, this didn't affect us in any way and the stay was peaceful and quiet. It was fantastic to wake up and be able to see the whole of the lake - it was an instant weather forecast! There was a jacuzzi bath in the room too which was lovely after a day sightseeing. There is not a daily cleaning service but you do get clean towels...

“Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!”
