“We stayed one night to visit our son at Cornell, and for my 11 year-old daughter's lacrosse tournament at Ithaca HS. My elderly parents came with us. The location was beautiful and only 6 miles from downtown Ithaca. Much more cost-effective than a hotel, very clean and also just minutes from Taughannock Falls for a quick visit. Perfect! Highly recommend!”

“Perfect place to stay in Penn Yan. The wine bar below is a gem! Couple that owns it is lovely and food, drinks and service was great! Definitely make a reservation for brunch! The only little down side of this place was the steep steps to carry up luggage. We underestimated the time to take our luggage down and around back to the car. It was lovely place to stay. Highly reccomend!”

“This studio was cute and everything we needed. It was a fairly central location, less than a half hour to Ithaca, several wineries within 20 minute drives, and very close to Watkins Glen. “Everything was just as advertised. Great location, comfortable, updated and super clean. Managers are very responsive and accessible. Next to all restaurants and shops. Easy access to several great wineries. Only hiccup is the unit is near downtown (which is great) so a little noisy at night. But noise level goes down after 11 PM, so not a huge deal.. thank you for an amazing stay!”

“This was our second stay at the purple house and we had a wonderful time. The location is quiet, and an easy walk to both the lake and the main street where most of the restaurants and stores are. The host is very nice and very responsive. The place had a lot of amenities as well.”

“We stayed during the off season (April) and loved the location of this place to some of our favorite wineries! It's also a quick trip into Watkins Glen. The place itself was quirky with a fully stocked kitchen and clean bathroom. We saw the owners a few times and they are incredibly friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Other reviews complained about the beds but we didn't mind them at all. The living space was perfect for our two kids to play.”

“This rental has a scenic view, while being so close to town and Watkins Glen State Park. It is also an easy drive to many wineries and we easily drove to Keuka Lake and Ithaca on separate occasions. So many beautiful places and delicious wines close by! ”
