“The place is perfectly located, beautiful mountains view with an incredible sunset watching point. It has a great proximity to Santa Elena, Monteverde and all attractions around. Communication with the host is very smooth. Yaloco Chalet is semi-glamping accomodation though (tent door in the main bedroom), it is a bit challenging to rest when you have a light sleep - quite noisy with wind and/ or rain. Other than that it was a nice 2-nights' stay.”

“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

“Very nice coupel which is having this place, very personal and seems to be in the middle of the jungle. “Sugey was a fantastic host, she was there for us when we arrived making check in effortless and providing lots of great advice on the area. Home was clean and comfortable, kitchen had all we needed, the stove is 2 burners and does not have a dishwasher but for vacation and light use was more than adequate, we saw toucans and other birds every morning by the house and is in a good location to visit attractions in the area.”
