“Really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds at the complex are landscaped beautifully. There was some building renovations going on but it didn't bother us. (There is scaffolding, materials and workers around.) The beach is very close, and the sand was really nice and clean and lovely to walk on. We didn't rent a car and just walked everywhere; bring good walking shoes if you plan to do this because things are a little far apart for just walking. But when we called our hostess to report that I was cooking soup for dinner on our night of arrival and there was only one single bowl to eat from, she dropped everything and delivered 8 soup bowls immediately. “Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids.”

“We’ve always been smitten with the island and this lovely historical cottage was perfect for our extended stay. Between the grill with propane ready to go and the modern appliances and the well equipped kitchen,dining in was east and fun. Comfy beds, laundry access, and AC unit were great. “We had a lovely stay the view was nice and hearing the ocean waves at night were very calming. The home is Vintage but it’s very homey. One of the beds is very hard and the other is soft. If all else fails the couches are loungers and very comfy to sleep in plus you can hear the ocean. We stayed 2 days so we had everything we needed clean towels and bedding extra pillows and a fridge and microwave. Though I would was the dishes before you use them , your supposed to wash them yourself after...
