“We really wanted to love this place, but we had some issues. First, we had a really hard time finding it. Owner was very responsive when I reached out, but it’s not marked at all. The house is very hot (we were there during a heatwave), there is no air con or fans in the house. Owner suggested opening windows and closing blinds - but no air got in and there is a lot of noise from the main road. Couldn’t leave the windows open because the bugs were crazy too. I ended up with heat rash from not...

“We had a wonderful week staying at this property absolutely no issues. House was very clean and had a superb equipped kitchen. As we were there in very hot weather the only thing we could have done with was more fans in the bedrooms but at least the children had fans. If heatwaves are going to occur more often this would be the only suggestion we would have. Property suited everyone we loved the pool and also the lake which was so close. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in aptly named Villa Zenitude. The villa is very tastefully decorated and also the kitchen is very complete with all sorts of appliances. Our most favorite part was sitting on the terrace (or inside when it rained) and just watch the activity on the lake in front of us and the lights at night. The location is perfect and there's lots of good restaurants nearby, catering to every budget. Mr Robberse is a very charming and helpful host and we really enjoyed meeting...

“Large sliding glass doors on main floor and bedrooms provided stunning views of the lake and mountains. The pool was a welcome relief from unexpected very hot sunny weather in June. Host Fabienne was very responsive, kind. And helpful. Great location as base for exploring the lake region, but be prepared for very steep driveway and up to shopping street.”
