“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”

The location was perfect for us to explore the different towns on OBX and the accommodations made us look forward to coming back at the end of each day! Any questions I had about the property were answered in the communication provided by the owner! Technology, temperature of unit, water pressure were all great and easy to navigate—things I don’t want to worry about on a vacation! ”
