“Beautiful property with so much character! We loved preparing meals and sitting outside for dinner in the evening sun. Very peaceful yet still close to the town. Loved being in the countryside with lots of wildlife and watching the farmers work from a distance. Everything was very new and good quality. Pool was excellent. Would definitely recommend! ”

Unsere Extrawünsche (Fahrräder,Mückennetz,Betten) wurden alle erfüllt. Und wir durften uns über eine unvergessliche Einladung zu einem Sonntagsmenue freuen. Von unseren Ausflügen ins Perigord poupre und die Weinberge der Umgebung konnten wir uns wunderbar im schönen schattigen Garten erholen. Wir waren ohne Auto unterwegs und die Verpflegung gelang...

“We were greeted on arrival by the really friendly hosts, Nadine and Jean Luc, and given a tour of their wonderful property. The house is in a rural and peaceful location, with expansive views of the countryside. We arrived during a heatwave and were so grateful to have air conditioning in each room in the house. The patio area was huge and had an electric awning which provided shade, with steps down to the pool which was a great place for sunbathing and keeping cool. We saw plenty of wildlife...

“Our second time staying at Maison Des Roses. That we came back indicates we like the area and property. Second time was even better than the first. The house felt even more homely - and we had a perfect stay enjoying the garden and pool, with occasional trips out. Everything you need is on hand, it is thoughtfully hosted and well managed on behalf of the owners. Recommended without hesitation. and”

“We enjoyed our stay in the house a lot.The house was very tidy and has a nice garden with shade. The kitchen is fully equipped (no spices etc though). The beds were comfortable. And of couse Gerard and Claudine are very nice hosts! ”
