“We loved our stay at Summit Cottage. It was quiet at night and the view of the stars from the dock was incredible. It was nice to have access to the paddleboard and kayaks. Inside the cottage was great. Lots of amenities, and bigger than it appears in pictures. Most things were easy to figure out, but when I ran into problems operating the coffee maker, Ryan quickly responded. Would love to return in the future, this place is a gem.”

“We stayed for four nights in early October and really enjoyed our stay. The property sits in a quiet corner of the lake. Nothing is ever perfect but this place was pretty damn good (the gazebo is pretty close to perfect!). We'll sign up to come back sometime soon. Last, the communication with the hosts was top level and very much appreciated.”

“The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor.Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good.”

“Easy to find as it’s the first home just off the main road. That being said it can get a little noisy when the large trucks drive by. For the most part it didn’t bother us and you get used to it. Great lake for kayaking (not provided) we brought our own. The dock does have a ladder for easy access. We took our dog to the other end of the lake where it is shallow and has a sandy bottom. “Terrible experience. Host never showed and vrbo dropped the ball on making it right. Had to self lodge for three nights of one week vacation. Then vrbo stuck me at some backwoods fishing camp. Still have not recovered refund or costs of self lodging when they assured me that I would receive both. Terrible customer service and overall vacation experience from hell. Never using vrbo ever again.”

“The place is absolutely gorgeous - such a tranquil location. There are multiple hang-out spots for those who need a break or a change of scenery (two balconies, screened in porch/balcony, fire pit area). The water is beautiful with a view of crown land on the other side. The cottage is spacious and accommodates many comfortably as described (although we were just a group of 3 and a dog!). Loved the fireplace on our cool nights, that was such a treat. There are lots of hikes in the area that...

“The cottage had everything we could possibly need. Lots of room for the grandkids to play. Everyone had a wonderful time. The neighbors on each side of us were very helpful and welcoming. Chris was very helpful and responded with kindess and respect.”
