“Im Rahmen eines Roadtrips durch den Osten Kanadas hatten wir das Motel nach einer Fährfahrt von St. John nach Digby gebucht. Das Motel liegt an der Straße ziemlich nah an der Fähre. Da die Straße nur von den Fahrern von und zur zweimal am Tag fahrenden Fähre genutzt wird war es in der Nacht absolut ruhig. “Highly recommend August House. The rooms in this heritage home are clean and beautiful with a minimalist, pine aesthetic. The breakfast is buffet with local bread, granola, berries, scrambled eggs, etc. The staff are very helpful. There is a sauna and several shared spaces. The rooms have no TV. The bed was very comfortable and the tub was deep. ”

The cabin had all the comforts of home, including a bathroom with shower, TV, heat & A/C, and a mini fridge.
