They reserved great taxi service - for Rafael to pick us up at airport and also do a day tour of part of island. He was friendly and energetic and shared his love of the island. “Ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber und gepflegt. Alles da was man braucht, Grill, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. Das Haus hat eine große Garage mit direktem Zugang...

“Everything was great although we arrived quite late so in addition to the welcome pack it would have been good to have some basics like milk, bread and butter - should have asked the question to see if they could provide but might be a good idea to add these instead of the local produce which was not really suitable for breakfast xx”
