“You can tell the home was built in the 70s but they really did a very nice job updating the homes, especially the bathrooms and brand new kitchen. Some walls had some scuffs and things, and we photographed them upon arrival. Host was excellent and very responsive. One suggestion please provide more toilet paper.”

“We had a great weekend. The house is massive and well equipped for large groups. We weren’t able to us the outdoors due to weather, but it could use a cleaning. The host was wonderful and very responsive to all our needs. Thank you!”

“Definitely a touristy vibe. I’m glad we didn’t go in the summer time. Off season was busy. Didn’t like golf carts driving crazy.Beach wasn’t very beachy. Unattractive. If your going to the area, we enjoyed Jekyll Island more. ”

“Perfect house with a great location. The house is very well maintained and equipped. The house faces the marsh, with no houses across the street for a more peaceful experience. Short walk to the community pool and beach access point. The beach has a gentle slope to the water and there are 2 pools, one for adults and one for families. I highly recommend this house. ”

“This was our first family trip to the beach and this home was perfect for us. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space to escape to if needed. The kitchen could use some dishes and utensil updating - too few for the number of people but other than that we would definitely rent again. The rental company was easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. Loved our stay!!”

“Lucy’s Hideaway was amazing! The home was beautiful, clean, and right down the road from the pier! We had a quick getaway and picked this home because it had the pool and spa. My son played in the pool the whole weekend! Being heated he literally played all weekend in it! The house was stocked with everything you need and was so roomy. It felt like home! “I have an annual golf tournament at Sapelo Hammock. Always stayed at a friend’s condo on the course but he sold it. Not many options in Townsend that fit our needs so very happy I found this place and will short list it for next year. Scott was very responsive and quick to reply. Short drive to Sapelo Hammock. No issues with neighborhood or neighbors. Great experience all the way around.”

“Overall this townhome was perfect for my family vacation with my two adult children and their spouses. I loved that we all had our own space and bathrooms. The kitchen was large and was able to accommodate making meals. The family room was comfortable. Unfortunately the closest beach access was underwater thanks to most recent back to back hurricanes but it was just a short walk to large public access with nice walkway to beach. We will definitely try to stay here again when we come to St...
