Not everything is perfect but that is the charm of this old farm house. If you plan to use the yard make sure that it is taken care of before you stay at the property. “The property is lovely. A quick walk to the beach, which even in the winter, was absolutely wonderful to experience. During the first part of the stay there was snow. Bought sleds for everyone to use on the hills. The end of our trip saw all the snow gone and we were able to visit the lighthouse. “This was a great location and space for my family of four. We were visiting family during the winter and were delighted with our stay. The space and amenities were great and as described. It was fun (and very warming!) to make a fire in the fireplace and be able to watch the ducks tentatively walking on the frozen water. With the kayaks nearby we could see how this would also be a great place to stay during warmer months. We will definitely see if this place is available the next time we visit.”

“Was not expecting to be in the basement of a home that they created into a little apartment. The home owner showed us to the lockbox and explained everything on getting in and out. There were house rules like quiet hours after 10pm which would have been good to know, it was NYE and we wanted to play music after our concert but we were to scared to be loud or wake up the home owner.
