“This was an absolute gem of a retreat. I was on a choir visit at The Abbey and needed to get there and back quickly between rehearsals and services and the place was just gorgeous. Beautifulmbig bedroom with all those little touches and sweet garden. Staff really helpful about leaving the car there after checkout and having a friend over for coffee. Breakfast was incredible…I want to come back!!!”

“The stay at the Pen Mill Hotel was excellent, the staff where very helpful and accommodating, the food was fantastic and the staff where very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yeovil and we can't wait for our next stay here.”

“The Brewers Arms has large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and maintained. It's a historic building so corridors are narrow, stairs are steep, doorways low and there's a bit of road noise through single glazed windows, but it is a charming pub with great beers and food and excellent staff.”

“We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”

“Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests. Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic. ”
