This was a trip allowing our family to get together from across the country, including a first-time meeting of our 6th grandchild We had a wonderful time, and enjoyed the property and location. The property was very clean, and comfortable, accommodating 5 adults and 4 children ages 11 years to 6 months.
The property was conveniently located close to grocery stores, gas stations, and plenty of restaurants and attractions.
There were some things that should be improved.
1. Communication with the property contact was not adequate. It took 2 emails, a text, and escalation to the Property Management Firm to receive our access code. We started the contacts 2 days before scheduled arrival, and finally received the code after escalation to the Mgmt. Company. The firm was very responsive, and that was appreciated.
2. We never received a proactive communication from the property contact throughout our 5 night stay.
3. I initiated a contact reporting difficulty with the kitchen sink garbage disposal not working. I did receive a text message, noting the switch might be under the cabinet - it was not. Never heard from the contact again to check. Reported the disposal was inoperative the day prior to checkout, so she would have time to arrange for someone to repair it prior to the next renter. No response was received.
4. I texted again after checkout to let the contact know proactively that we had left the property, so they could begin turnaround. No response.
