“The property owner was helpful whenever I had a question and the place was clean. The location is a small walk to town but there are sidewalks all the way and it is right by a bus station if you won’t want to walk. You get a good view of the Loche and there is food in the fridge for breakfast. Great value for the price.”

“We never got an email with the code for the key safe. Contacted VRBO and was on hold for ages. I was given the phone number for the owner who we phoned and he contacted us back after some time. He gave us the code and was apologetic but still waiting for up date from yourselves. We got into the property some 2 hours late which wasn't a good start to our break. Communication had been good to this part. Accommodation suited us and great location. Would use again for a group of lads”

“We were disgusted when we arrived. The kitchen floor was taped up and tiles were loose. My husband is disabled so this was so dangerous for him. Paint around winvdows had mould on them. Moved radiator cover and floor was filthy. No mirror in bathroom or toilet roll holder. Everything lacked any attention to detail or personality. Luckily holiday company was fantastic and was able to move us on quickly”

“We have traveled to Scotland the last three years in a row and this apartment is the favorite of the places we’ve stayed. I’d happily buy it and move in! It’s in a peaceful neighborhood with a great walking/biking path steps away. And within a very short distance from downtown. We walked in and out for groceries and cooked family dinners nightly. And, the views are fantastic from nearly every window in the place! We initially booked just 2 nights and then added a third, but I really could’ve...

“The Old Distillery Apartment has amazing views of the mountains and also of the Jacobean Train going past. It is very spacious, comfortable and within walking distance to the train station and High Street. The only problem was taking your bags up the many flights of stairs!”
