“To summarize in a nut shell it was a joke when we arrived that the place was creepy and that someone must have been murdered here because of all the stains in the carpets and dirty walls. No dish towels to dry dishes and no dishwasher tabs to use the dishwasher. No oven mitts to remove hot items from the oven, no dish soap or trash bags (they give you 1 but a family of 7 will use that in a heartbeat). Water brown, small hand towels left for 2 adults, towels left wet in the washer. Note to...

“This delightful cottage made the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye, with it being just 20 minutes from the Skye Bridge. It is situated on the shores of Loch Long and very peaceful without being too isolated. The view from the kitchen and lounge over the loch to mountain beyond alone made this one of my most memorable trips.”

“Had a really good stay here with the family. It was definitely a true Scottish experience having to use the woodburner to heat the lounge and great that the cottage was up together but traditional. It wasn’t overly modernised but not dated either. Would definitely return. Well positioned for many good walks.”

“I picked this place due to it being a good distance from all the places I aimed to visit. Just over an hour to Skye, Mallaig etc and less to Fort William and Glencoe. I was aware that there's not many shops nearby but I was well prepared. The place is spacious for a 1 or 2 person stay but possibly a bit tight for 4. Great parking close to accommodation. There were a few faults that shouldn't take long to fix. Catching front door. Internal doors that don't all stay shut, kitchen cupboard...
