“My family and I were looking for a ‘base camp’ while exploring the eastern side of the island. This location was perfect. The special touches (personalized welcome in bedroom and personalized parking space was such a nice touch. The place was impeccable and everything we needed for our family of 7. From bath and beach towels, to k cups for the coffee maker. I would recommend this highly!!”

“We had a fabulous stay and absolutely loved the cabin's lanais, all the natural light, the kitchen, propane fireplace, open concept, and wood features. The cabin was easy to get to and the access road is well maintained. We enjoyed cooking dinners every night and even enjoyed some cocktails out on the lanai using the stemware provided. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“The place was very clean, even had lawn chairs and beach towels. Allan even let us know where to go to view the Blue Moon while we were there. He gave us tips where to snorkel , shop for groceries and sent us info on how to get to Hilo the back roads, after school had started and the roads got busy in the mornings. He sent me places to grocery shop and get gas. Would stay again if the opportunity arises. Worked out great.”

“Es war eine voll eingerichtete Wohnung. Viel Deko überall. Machte es nett, aber auch irgendwie voll. Ich hatte leichte Probleme mich dort mit meinen Sachen/Reisegepäck zu integrieren, weil überall etwas herumstand oder herumlag. Das angepriesene Frühstück war etwas übertrieben dargestellt, es gab Kaffee und für 4 Nächte ein paar kleine Sachen, die man auch zum Frühstück verzerren konnte, aber es war halt kein Frühstück. Alles in allem aber eine nette, wenn auch gewöhnungsbedürftige...

“Beautiful location, large unit. No AC, but it wasnt uncomfortable at night. The init wasnt as nicely decorated as other places but that worked for us since we were traveling with our one year old daughter. The grounds were gorgeous though! ”

“Had a great time, the location of the house is just breathtaking, spent an age just staring at the waves crash against the rocks, saw turtles too! The house is a canny way of the main road situated in a quiet neighborhood, house well stocked. The only issue we had was the heat, we knew at the time of booking the AC was only available in the bedrooms but the lounge and dining areas we found too hot but us Brits just not use to the heat. The coqui frogs were amazing, in full tune all night.Pool...

“House was great, plenty of room. Lots of fun things for the family, bikes, pool table, etc.. Nice to know host was close but didn't need anything. House is not far from the coast which is nice, bit of a drive to store, etc..Very quiet and peaceful, especially in the mornings on the big deck.”
