You'll Get What You Pay For
Buyer beware! Emails showed we requested pool heat and asked to pay for it. There was never a bill sent so we didn’t have it. Pool screens WERE missing, which let in many lizards and bugs. We asked if they could swap pool heat for this inconvenience and told no. We couldn't use the pool at all.
Trash cans in the front of the house were overflowing and stayed there for the first five days of our trip. A fun smell. Ants were EVERYWHERE in the kitchen. The walkway has overgrown hedges and lighting that doesn’t work. Water heater was turned down all the way so the water was tepid at best. Master bathroom toilet paper holder kept falling out and handle squeaked severely. All but one remote control needed new batteries. No baking sheets or pot holders. Pool & Spa had pressure sounds and continuous bubbling noises we could hear at night, making it hard to sleep. Ice maker was disabled.
At arrival the key lockbox was open & door unlocked. Instantly we didn’t feel safe. This is a case where a management company sees the property as home #164 & nothing more. No personal care given to the property or to customer concerns. There were lots of emails back & forth, giving MULTIPLE opportunities to help us and make our stay a positive one, yet nothing was ever done to do so.
The home was in a great location. That is the single positive I have to write about this property. It was a bargain but, per usual, you get what you pay for.
