“The property was an overgrown garden oasis with an abundance of fragrant flowers competing with one another for best in show. The basement apartment was well apportioned with comfy aesthetically pleasing furniture. There was just enough kitch to make it feel like a home. Downsides: chicken coup is close to the door, so you get a pretty good whif as you arrive, it’s only as you walk past one spot that smells. “This place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed as a homebase to explore Portland. I walked over 15 miles to check out the parks and multiple areas in the city. Everything was easy to get to and at the end of the day this cozy little place was so relaxing. Highly recommend if you’re coming into the city and want to check out all it has to offer.”

“I stayed here because it was a unique property, close to family I was visiting and pet friendly (I was traveling with my little dog ). I really only slept there but it was a very peaceful, cozy spot. Jean, the host, is lovely and accommodating.
