“We stayed at Trissaro Lodge as it was close to Mystery Creek which we were attending for the Sika Show. Our grandson was exhibiting antlers from a stag he shot on the farm. The property was super clean & very comfortable. A lovely atmosphere in the house & nice sunny deck. Instructions for finding the property could be more detailed as it’s on a very busy main road. ”

“House is in a beautiful location with beautiful views. The house is unique, an interesting design, and the host was friendly and accomodating. However the house is quite musty in side and the furniture seriously needs updating, with sofa springs sticking out like they it come from an op shop. All the bathrooms and kitchen need upgrades and we found the house very expensive for the quality of the property. Despite this we did enjoy the location.”

“Group of 10, house, location etc were perfect. In middle of a farm, private and all animals friendly. Even Harriet the chicken who decided the balustrade by our bedroom window was a good hangout place. She got lots of scratches under her wings. Owners were there pottering around feeding farm stock etc, but were very respectful of our privacy. We will definitely be back.”

“Fabulous stay. Thank you so much Celia! Our kids loved feeding the chickens and lamb. The simple trampoline and bars helped keep them outside. I just want to be back on that deck reading my book surrounded by glorious nature. Other highlights were the outdoor bath and toasting marshmallows under the stars. We thought we knew Rotorua well but Celia recommended some new gems. Hope to go back at some stage. ”
