“Rather a quirky place on the edge of Bristol. There is a bus stop right outside, very convenient, took about 40 minutes into city centre so no parking to worry about. Our room was rather dark with heavy wood and colour scheme, but well enough equipped, although there was a considerable amount of traffic noise. Tiny shower and diy breakfast (plenty of it). The owner was away but the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and chatty. This was not a luxury stay but fine for a stopover. ”

“Always a welcoming haven. I know the Berwick Lodge well, have run groups there and attended networking events. However until this time I have never stayed overnight. Loved it and was well worth it.”

“Room was not cleaned in the 4 days and 3 nights we stayed, no fresh towels, room was too hot, requested cooling to be fixed nothing done. Very noisy. stayed here before 4 times, disappointed this time..”
