“Our family needed to find a place to stay that was affordable and immediate, due to loss of a family member. Our host, Martin, was very accommodating and helpful throughout this process. Our cabin was very clean and had alot of extra’s, such as a washer and dryer and full kitchen equipped with mostly anything we needed to be able to cook for all of us. The location was both beautiful and peaceful and this was comforting in our downtime, and much needed, due to the circumstances.”

“To say nothing of the beautifully appointed and decorated home, our Host thought of everything. We were in Galena for a wedding and brought the grooms elderly grandparents who took the first floor bedroom outfitted with a queen-sized bed, my husband and I took the lower level with the oh-so-comfortable king and our daughter and SIL took the upstairs queen. “Beautifully decorated cabin, really got you in the river vibe! Very comfortable with plenty of beds & living space. Wonderful deck and view of the river. “We really enjoyed our stay at this Galena rental. It was very clean and the 2 1/2 bathrooms were great! The wrap around porch was really cute and the fire pit was a special addition to the end of our evenings. There were 5 of us and one of our group tried to use the sofa bed, but it was really bad and uncomfortable, so I would keep that in mind if your group exceeds 4. “The only complaint was right at the end we were leaving around 9:30 a.m. and we had mowers come in and mow around the property at very high rates of speed. WE were afraid we were going to get hit by flying debris would have been nice if they could have waited 10 minutes for us to leave and then start since check out really wasn't until 11 a.m.”
