“I was so impressed by this place! Staying in Timmins for work it was so pleasant to have such a nice place to relax and cook myself a meal after work. The apartment is even better in real life, with so many creature comforts and set up so nicely. Host was so easy to communicate with, I would book again in a heartbeat!!”

“Good location and clean. Can hear the people upstairs talking and walking around. Can hear people entering the hallway to go to the other basement apartment. Definitely needs better sound insulation ”

“Was great”

“A beautiful red sandstone building. Second floor accommodations in the warden’s residence were more spacious than expected. Kitchen included all the necessities. Very clean and comfortable. The central location was minutes away from the train station for the Agawa Canyon tour and the waterfront and canal district. Host responded quickly to enquiries. We would recommend the warden’s residence for Sault visitors. ”

“Overall, everything was good! Host was responsive when we communicated. Was disappointed in limited toilet paper, other’s non reusable stuff left in the fridge, and some dirty dishes in the cupboards. However, overall good experience!”

“Shaun was very professional from the time i spoke with him until my stay was over, the cottage/hotel is newly renovated , very clean, organize and warm. Iwas there for my 23 anniversary (wedding) so i requested to have the room decorated as a surprise to my wife. My wife was so happy and surprised, overall amazing experience.”

“I stayed for a month over a semester for school. Everything was clean, quiet, and easy to live within. Parking was accessible and everything was close by. Would highly recommend for someone needing to stay for a longer amount of time.”

“Susan and Dennis were amazing hosts! They informed me of the weather forecast for the week I was coming up and shared plenty of valuable information so I could pack accordingly. They waited until the evening to come and introduce themselves,(so I could enjoy a few hours of kayaking in pleasant weather.) They shared plenty of information about the surrounding area and all the activities/sights to see. Their property would suit couples, families or single people just looking to relax and...

“I was overall satisfied with the stay. The only concern I had was that I wasn't informed that a change in accommodation was needed (the apartment I initially booked had water problems) until AFTER I reached out about the check-in process the day before. I received a response back on the day I was checking in, even though the problem had obviously occurred if not days, weeks beforehand and it seemed I wasn't going to be told about this until I showed up. This could have been a bigger problem...

“A nice and open lake view on the south side. Six apartments with long and wide patio at back. Spacious parking in front. One bedroom and one living room with sofa bed. Rental Canoe and boat available. Firewood and fire pit. Caught one fish on dock. Clean lake and warm water in August. Overall a nice 3 days stay.”

“This is a very nice unit, loft like with beautiful views on the village. The unit is well appointed. The external stairway is somewhat rough looking. The bed is comfortable and it is super quiet”
