“A beautiful peaceful setting in the countryside close to all the travel and experiences along the Able Tasman area. We had four full on busy days there and it was great to be able to return in the early evening to relax and have full cooking facilities to enjoy our catch from the Anatoki Salmon Farm. We enjoyed our peaceful starts to the day with freshly baked bread and farm eggs and delicious plums from the next door neighbour. The company of the resident farm animals was an added bonus. Our...

“We had spent almost a week up in Abel Tasman Park at Awaroa so had been busy hiking, swimming and watching the tides. After all the running about, boat trip up and back this was a super relaxing stop for a couple of days. The view out over the river to the sea and distant mountains is fantastic and we woke up to a brilliant red sunrise. We did laundry and fed some of my breakfast croissant crumbs to the chickens. Its was great.”

“Lovely comfortable warm home. Welcoming touch of fresh eggs and milk. Felt at home being on the farm. Enjoyed the company of horses nearby with a 5 minute walk to the Wairau river. Lots of close walks nearby. A hidden treasure. Love to come back.”

“Excellent place to stay and a great location. Really enjoyed ourselves. A bit of a tricky driveway. Could do with some window coverings in the lounge and a microwave. The stove top was difficult to use and didn’t seem to get hot enough to cook food in a timely manner. Minor things in the bigger scheme still a really cool place and we would stay again. Thanks”
