“The stay was nice. The room was beautiful and loved the kitchen. Being able to have this kitchen saved a ton of money as I was able to cook we meals instead of going out for every meal. Breakfast was awesome and have a variety of food breakfast items to choose from daily. Very close to the beach and literally has its own access to the beach. It’s my first time at the Outer Banks. Being we only go on vacation once a year at the same time. Going to different hotels this was the best room ever....

“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”
