Spent lots of time relaxing and eating meals on the large, amazing deck, exploring the beach front, paddle boarding, fishing and swimming. Owners were great at communicating and answering any questions. House is well maintained and stocked with most anything you could need.”

“Absolutely gorgeous location - close to the lake, hiking trails, but still a short drive from town if you need. The property was very large and well able to handle our family get together: the large kitchen and table was perfect and the living room very cozy. Our family had members that couldn't come last minute so we could fit comfortably downstairs, but there was an entire kitchenette and second living room upstairs for groups that need the space.”

“Enjoyed the setting, which feels remote but is just a short drive from the main business center of Vashon. Host was quick to respond when we had a question. There is a 3-5 minute walk from the road where you park, so pack light. The walk is mostly on pavement, but to enter yurt you’ll take a few steps on the forest floor and up about the height of one stair to a wood platform. “What a beautiful property! Brough 15 folks for a board game retreat and we were all comfortable, and well taken care of. Definitely will be booking again for next year. Jared was super responsive. When the power went out (PSE issue, not an issue with the house), he was right on top of helping us out, and communicating from the utility.
