“This was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property. “The house at High Street and Broadway was awesome! The location was ideal and the house was super cute. We could walk downtown easily, but was far enough away to have quiet in the evening. The property has a beautiful walking trail and everyone was super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again. ”

“We booked spur of the moment for a last-chance summer getaway. We’ve never been to the area before. We were pleasantly surprised by the charming town, and this location is right in the middle of the best part of all the things to do up and down Main Street. We can step out onto the balcony to survey the goings-on. The bow window dining nook was our morning reading and coffee spot. Very clean and has everything you need for your stay. We would book there again if we were coming back to the area.”

“I saw this place on Expedia and was immediately hooked.It was only for an overnight stay and we didn’t get there until after one in the morning. The decor really appealed to this and made weary travelers forget the long ride we had just completed. We had a great breakfast in the morning at the Inn down near the train station then took a ride on the train before leaving. Jim Thorpe is a lovely unique town. Would definitely stay there again”

“This property was set back from a main road, so it felt private, even though houses were very close. Our favorite part was seeing all the wildlife when walking or driving; a few deer greeted us in the yard the night we arrives & were present the morning we left. “The town and area are lovely. The property itself was hard to locate with no visible name nor house number. It looked like a vacant store front. The "lobby" was behind dirty glass doors, and locked, with a lock box on the handle. Inside looked under construction with caution signs on the dirty floor. There was much lag time with property management communications. They refused to answer calls or texts even though they provide a "please call or text" message at the bottom of their property...

It was a short walk to the lake area and heated pool, especially since we ended up with a cool, cloudy week, the kids enjoyed the heated pool.
