“Great place, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, clean and warm. One suggestion, would be nice to have a phone in room to contact main reception if needed. We had no mobile reception to contact main reception ”

“We stayed 3 nights. Buffet Breakfast was included and catered for all tastes and food types. The hotel had numerous of the Cradle Mountain walks starting near their reception as well as the shuttle bus to Ronnie Creek and Dove Lake being just over the road. They had the Highlander restaurant or the bar and bistro to eat at. The food was really great. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend staying at Peppers Cradle Mountain”

“When we arrived at Blue Lake Lodge no one was there and the place was all locked up. Tried to phone the lodge but rang out to a full answering machine. So clearly something wrong with their booking system. ”

“The Pumphouse is in the middle of no-where. There is a lot of excellant hiking and some boating around. The hotel is designed to support this. It is less well designed to suit the long term traveler because of lack of space for suitcases or hanging cloths. That said the staff was extremely helpful. The food very good, and ambiance superb!”

“Location location when it comes to taking a pause whilst doing the Western Explorer. Rooms are very tidy and bedding comfortable. Staff a little reserved but this may be to do with the teams of mining crews that also use it as a base. You might be exposed to some colourful behaviour.”
