I was given Josh’s phone number and reached out to him to set up a check in time, he was very responsive and kind and was there to show me around at almost 11pm. The room was great, very comfortable bed, big bathroom, and breakfast was great as well. ”

“Beautifully unique bed & breakfast with the sweetest couple running the place! He roasts his own coffee beans on site and makes the most delicious coffee to sip on the cute front porch. She is a professional baker and made the best scones I’ve ever had. Our room was clean and had so much character with a very comfortable bed. An amazing place to stay!”

“The El Moore is an absolutely beautiful place !! The history. The quality of the restoration. The midtown area close to museums, dining, downtown. Lovely clean room overlooking the front garden. Spacious bathroom. The bed was a tad soft for us ( Others may like it) Beautiful parlor with great selection of books. We did not watch TV; we read books about the architecture and history of Detroit. Breakfast is both healthy and delicious!”

The owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. “We had a wonderful stay. The inn is close enough to walk to everything but far enough that it is super quiet and away from the bustle of the main strip. There are pickleball courts, yard games, a pool and fire pits. The real star of the show is the breakfast. It is community table style and every day is something different. It was better than any restaurant. ”
