“My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Frederick Stearns house. The house was gorgeous, and we loved learning from the owner the history of the home and the work they put in restoring it. The room was quiet, clean and relaxing, and the coffee and fresh baked pastries in the morning were wonderful! Would highly recommend this stay to anyone that appreciates history, along with the comfort of a luxury hotel!”

“I love the homey comfortable feel of the house and the rooms. Staff was attentive and communication was prompt. Breakfast was delicious. The beach is just across the street, lots of unique shops and restaurants a couple blocks away. We had a nice view of the lake from our room. ”

“This was an awesome, and unique place. Beautiful woodwork, amazing windows and features. But it is 130 years old and things are definitely unique. We loved it. Never quite figured out the shower (n the Miracle room) but that’s alright. The staff was great. Matt, the bartender/waiter, was the highlight. Funny, yet professional. Talented. We would like to return. What an experience. We were there for a show downtown. Next time we will stay for dinner. ”

“It was a Relaxing/Amazing Trip. A 10 min walk to everything downtown Charlevoix. Room was immaculate, “Great Lakes.” The Property Mgr. Terri was terrific, she always had a beautiful spread for breakfast, and she knows the area well, and always had great suggestions for restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. I have already blocked another week in April, 2025.”
