“The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. They couldn't do enough to make our stay wonderful, from gifting us some English teabags, heating up our private hot tub, recommending some local food places that delivered, and allowing the kids a quick dip in the pool when we arrived past pool hours! “After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. “Communication before the stay was excellent. Gite is better than the pictures. Plenty of storage space throughout. The two dogs are friendly but not a nuisance.The reviews are accurate. Peter and Laura are happy to help in any way they can. Great walking and cycling from the gite, lovely villages within 20 minutes drive. Large Super U with fuel station three minutes drive away.
