“My husband, son and I stayed there for a lacrosse tournament at Stony Brook. The apt. was very clean and perfect for 2-3 people. The AC is run by the main house and when it got a little warm the first day I reached out to Stu and he and his wife quickly lowered the temp for us and it was perfect. Cute neighborhood-we visited Stony Brook village, Port Jeff and Sunken Meadow Park in our off time. Last year we stayed in Patchogue which was nice but we enjoyed the North Shore this year. “So glad we found this listing! It was perfect for a long weekend for a wedding at Oheka Castle. The deck overlooking the owner’s backyard and gardens was so beautiful and peaceful. The property sits back from the road and up a driveway which makes it even more private and quiet. We were able to make a short drive to great local towns for dining,(shopping if you want) and beaches and a boardwalk.We highly recommend this property.”

“We had a spectacular time. place was very clean. They had snacks and water in the fridge. Working freezer/fridge, gas range. There was one hickup. A freek cold front came in and the place was a little cold. I reached out to the host and 2 hours later we had 2 space heaters. WOW. Very responsive. I will definitely go back.”
