“This location, The Charles Inn at Vacationland in Bangor, ME is on your website and allowed me to book 3 rooms and it hasn’t been in operation for 2 yrs. I drove 4 hrs with family to arrive and find out we in fact did not have rooms to stay the weekend for my daughter’s college graduation. I had no other option but to look for 3 rooms elsewhere at the last minute and had to pay $1,300 more than I thought I was paying for the first place I thought I had booked. “This was a one-night stay for us to attend a funeral in a remote area. It was in a good location that offered everything we needed. Room was quiet and large. Bed was firm and while we did sleep all night, it was "crinkly" and super firm. The spider webs that greeted us outside in front of the door were yukky but didn't affect the inside. “Booked this hotel out of necessity because we wanted to do the bioluminescence tour in Castine (also highly recommend) and the Bucksport Inn just happened to be conveniently located. So glad we did!
