“It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. This is a get away spot, I recommend, part of which what is not there makes it special. Waldon Pond in a field! I could easly spend a week there doing my writing & a artistic...

“This is a very together little house. Really couldn''t improve on anything significant. Very simple, everything where it should be, and thank you very much, the walls are not covered with cute inspirational sayings! Dock works fine--we are geezers and didn't use the canoe, but if it had been warmer we would have. This is a great place to just kick back!”

“Great stay, wonderful and friendly hosts. Only note (and very minor note) is that the cabin is closer to their main house than it seems to be on the listing. It's a kind of detached guest house, but only a few feet from their house. That being said, they were very gracious and left us with space to enjoy a quiet cabin getaway; I saw Lois once at the beginning of the stay (she was very friendly and thorough) and then didn't see anyone else the entire time. Wonderful place and area.”

“Everything couldn't have been more perfect! The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. The place itself is exactly as described and if anything even nicer. I wish I could live there! The lake was gorgeous, the beds comfortable and the stars were amazing. Can't wait to go back! ”
