“The house is nicely decorated and was very clean. We only had to get rid of a large number of spiders, but that was due to our arachnophobia. It is a place where one can really calm down and relax and it´s great that dogs are allowed. We enjoyed walking along the coast and down to the "beach" where we saw some quite "dramatic" sunsets. The only downside was, that the 2 lower bedrooms were damp so that we needed to keep dehumidifiers running. But still one of the bedrooms had a quite unpleasant...

“The cottage was rustic and gave a good experience of old cottage living. The customer clean-up was unexpected with having to take care of all bedding and linens. The shed that we were required to put the dirty linens in was not very user friendly with broken door and moldy linens from some previous clients still in there.”

“Perfect place to stay .. Our family loved the location and the cottage was spacious with rooms for all of us . Plus bathrooms and a shower room . We had a excellent family hoilday The beds and bathrooms were lovely The kitchen was fitted with what you needed Just lots of cobwebs and live stock that was a minus”

“I stayed here for a few days with my dog, the accommodation is small but i think the pictures reflect this so i knew this beforehand. The location is great, 10 minutes drive from Hartland Quay and approx 30 minutes to appledore/westward ho. After being out all day the hot tub was a nice place to relax!”

“Just as described. We had a very nice stay (the two of us and our dog). The location is lovely; tucked into a steep sided valley, with trails from outside the door. Felt very secluded, but a quick drive to some excellent pubs with very good food. Highly recommended.”

“We had a wonderful family holiday here. We were a group of 8, three generations from 82 to 5 years old. We have stayed regularly in north Devon for our family holiday and this has been the best property we have stayed at. It is spacious and well maintained. We particularly liked the large dining area for games as well as eating. The kitchens are exceptionally well equipped. We come primarily for the beach and it is close to the beach. The facilities in and around the garage made it easy to rinse...

“Loved the property and the surroundings the weather was typical English but plenty of walking through the woods so stayed dry even when it rained. People had mentioned damp smell it was hardly noticeable one thing to be aware of is the drive it’s steep off of the road so if you have a low fronted vehicle it catches.”
