“Beautiful cottage down in the woods by the river. Everything we needed, included a scrumptious cream tea with huge delicious homemade scones to great us on arrival! The beds were super comfy with proper duvets & crisp clean white linen. The kitchen was really well equipped. It felt cold when we arrived but on turning the thermostat up on the stairs it was soon toasty warm! A perfect stay!”

“We have stayed in the property below and that was very nice. However, High Tide is not of a similar standard. Positively, there is a large window in the sitting area with views of the treetops. The downside for us an older couple is access from parking below is via lots of stone steps; not good when carrying luggage, although it is situated right next to the main road to Polperro which does mean it's possible to drop off bags from the roadside. “This was absolutely the best family vacation we have had! Tracey and Neal were fantastic in meeting all our needs in a casual friendly manner. We had children and grandchildren coming from different countries, total of 11. The house is so beautiful and spacious and all the gathering areas near the pool, family room and outside made it so comfortable. The meals were exceptional and so generous.
