“This is a perfect getaway location. We enjoyed the privacy and the location is near Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Quiet & apartment is perfect. Kitchen had premier cooking utensils, pans, and I loved the extra care with coffee or tea and dishes. Excellent one room for a couple. Walking up to the garden house called Mole Hill is an extra perk. We loved Badger’s Den and the theme from Wind in the Willows!”

The neighborhood was quiet, and the accommodations were lovely… and cozy indeed! In my opinion, however, the true magic of this property is its host! She is a gem of a human being. No matter the time of day, she was responsive— almost immediately! … and when a family emergency arose suddenly, she was kind, compassionate and flexible.
