“Our stay in Amish country was nice. The cottage was clean and well decorated, but could use some updating. The location was nice and quiet, as it was not in the center of town. We did have issues with people accidentally trying to get into our room in the middle of the night and the fire alarm going off, very loudly and abruptly waking us a couple hours after we had gone to sleep. We still lived having a space that was just ours, not sharing a building or walls with other people. ”

“We met up with family for few nights here and had a wonderful stay. It was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed, including a toys and a high chair for our 1 year olds. The host did great at communicating and the bread and peanut butter were a treat! Giving this 4 out of 5 stars because the overall cleanliness of the place was decent, but could use a good thorough cleaning. We hope to return again for another stay in the future!”

“My Daughter and I needed a fall getaway for some quiet time and this was perfect for a few days. It was very much like a small cottage. The second bedroom is on the 2nd floor and more geared for children but the first floor bedroom is very comfortable and both beds gave a great nights sleep. Beautiful kitchen and comfortable seating in the living room. We had a lovely time.”

“Reminded us of grandma’s house, cozy and familiar with great views of the fall foliage. Kitchen served us well. Only main issue was the radiator heat not cooperating in one bedroom. We also did not expect the driveway to be so steep; AWD/4WD vehicles that sit high are a must, your average sedan is going to have a tough time.”

“We really enjoyed this place. Love the all wood interior and wide open natural setting. It is super cozy. Perfect for a couple. We made use of the fire pit on the chilly nights and took a stroll by the pond. It's 15 minutes from AOAA which is why we were in the area. We'll be back I'm sure!”

“My wife and I stayed here over a weekend so we could ride our bikes on the Northwest Lancaster County River Rail Trail and attend Stevie Nicks in concert in Hershey, and everything was great. The rental is in a quiet location but near several restaurants/cafes and stores; the description is 100% accurate, it was very comfortable and clean. It's also a little bigger than I expected from the photos - two couples or someone/couple with children could stay here no problem. The owner is responsive...

“We really liked staying at this charming house. Plenty of room for the five of us and the doggie decor was warm and friendly. Getting to the front porch of the house (via GPS) was a bit of a challenge since Google Maps didn't know that there were footpaths leading to it but once we found it all was perfect!”
