“Such a beautiful well maintained property! It was equipped with everything we needed (except food 😆) The beds were extremely comfortable, everything worked as it should, the fireplace was warm & inviting & with plenty of wood to keep those fires burning! The only problem was, you cannot use the dvd player. It is a dvd/vhs player & is too old to work with the newer tv. We brought our Roku so it didn't matter… We will definitely be back! Thank you Rick & Sue!”

“The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. “It's the cutest cabin at a very nice location. Right next to whiteface mountain and riddled with so many hiking trails. After you check in and you enter the cabin the hosts have this folder filled with so many recommendations on restaurants and trails and attractions which I have used throughout my entire stay. “Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The house was just as pictured. It had a nice view from the living and dining room. The kids loved the game room. The owner responded to our message quickly when we had a small issue. The Cabin was only 20 minutes from Marcy Field, and it was easy for our hikers to catch the shuttle to Big Slide or other trails. The Forty Six restaurant is not far either and has some great food. It is not too far from Lake Placid or Whiteface either. ”

“We had a challenge finding it in a snow storm because google maps was not accurate and there was no sign. But is was definitely worth finding!! The house is beautiful. Cozy but spacious. Location and views amazing. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the trash limitations. Just wish we had known this before hand so we could come prepared. That being said, it was only a slight glitch. We had a fantastic time. ”
