“Location was good, quiet and private, only 20 miles from Hilo town. Large, roomey studio type apt was very comfortable for us. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, everything about it was as advertised on VRBO. We like to be away from all the touristy action, yet be able to make daily trips to see the sites. Sandra's place was perfect for this visit. If you like Thai food, you must try the New Chaing Mai restaurant in Hilo.”

“Unbeatable ocean views. Unit was nicely appointed but had a few small things that could make it just that much better - couple kitchen cabinets don’t close, pillows are flat, and balcony screen door badly needs to be fixed. Overall, great spot. ”

“From the house photos, and location at 2,500 feet, we were expecting rain every afternoon, but only saw it clouding over in afternoon and on two days had clear blue skies to sunset. The deck was very wet in the morning with dew. It is a lovely house, with a great deck to enjoy breakfast from, set in a beautiful, extensive, private, tropical garden, which we loved walking around.
