“I walked into the shower door because I thought it was open, it was spotless. The room had a king size bed, quirky furnishing, like a silver monkey holding up the table top. Lots of interesting objects on the landing. We had the de luxe room with a fridge. The pub itself looked smart but we didn't eat there. The outside looks a bit shabby so inside was quite a surprise.”

“Great location for our East Anglia base. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. We stayed in the new wing which is spotless albeit spartan. Would be nice to have a micro and fridge. I didn’t play golf but think the management could put some investment towards course improvements. Someone told me there’s a focus on wedding bookings. I would say that marketing as a golf resort would compliment the wedding business nicely. In order to do this you have to have a really nice course and...
