“We had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat.”

“We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. “The property is centrally located and provides ease of access to many walks. There is a fully stocked supermarket nearby which provides foods and essentials and there are a number of good eateries within walking distance. The cottage is cosy and clean with all the facilities you could reasonably want. The kitchen is very well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and aoproachable. I heartily recommend this cottage for your restful break.”

“Very pleasant place with friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. Attractive grounds with a short sculpture walk around the garden.
Only potential problem is that it can be noisy in the main building. It’s a very old house and the floors creak. We had someone above us who woke at 5am and chose to pace back and forth for the next few hours. This was very annoying so you may want to consider this before booking a room in the main house. ”
